Ah, warranty language. It’s so legalistic nowadays. Who reads this stuff? You do. Because it matters. And it’s short.
Mallet guarantees your order against manufacturer defects for the rest of your life. I’ll repair defective gear at no charge. If it’s after the 30-day returns window, all you pay is shipping.
See? That was pretty painless to read. And you didn’t have to click “Accept”.
Returns & Exchanges
Outliers exist and, historically, they’ve done a lot for the world. So don’t worry about wanting to return your Mallet order. As long as the gear is the same condition as new, I’ll take it back and give you a full product refund within 48 hours of inspection.
There has to be a catch, though, because I encourage executive function: For returns or exchanges, I need it back no more than 30 days after I shipped it to you for the full product refund (not shipping costs). Also, if it comes in to me damaged (e.g., stained, ripped/cut, antler holes, etc.), I’ll send it back to you. Sorry, but I have to draw a line somewhere. (And why were you wrestling a deer?!)
Email customerservice@malletofaustin.com and be sure to include your order number. Even better would be to reply to your Order Confirmation email.
Shipping
If you get your order in before noon Austin-time (US Central) I’ll ship it that day. Orders after noon ship the following day. For now, I don’t ship on Sundays, which means any order after noon, Austin-time on Saturday will ship on the following Monday. All orders are sent via Fedex.
For non-surgeons: When you get your order, take special care opening it up. I know how exciting it will feel, but take three deep breaths before attacking the box with a sharp implement. That’s a really nice bag in there and it’d be a shame to cut or scratch it before it’s even out of the box. If you’re a surgeon and crazy-skilled with a knife, just act like you would in the operating room.
