Blah, blah…

There are a lot of sites that will tell you all about a key person. I don’t mind telling you about me, but I’d rather you say “Wow!” about the merchandise. Don’t let me be the story. Let the merchandise be the story. That’s what deserves attention. The craftsmen who made them deserve more attention than I do. Even so, people are people and I should tell you a little about myself.

I’ve been running businesses for over twenty years. Some of those businesses were small & some were inside Fortune 100 companies. I learned quite a bit working for both big and small. From the smalls, I learned that nothing is beneath doing — no matter one’s position. From the bigs, I learned that one’s product means everything. From both, I learned that a product is never “done” or “perfect”, which is why I’ll keep working to make improvements on what I sell.

I spent a lot of time finding the right thing to start on my own. Mallet is it.

Bored, yet? Nothing bores me more than talking about myself. So, the next step is for you to take a look through what I offer and pick something out. Or don’t. Up to you. Share with your friends and family. Beyond that, do well and do

Great Things,

FAQ

Where are the bags made?

They’re made in South ‘Murica. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend it.

What kind of leather are the bags made of?

Full-grain waxed, cowhide leather. This isn’t the wimpy, shaved leather you’ll find on the cheap stuff. Your bag from Mallet is substantial.

Are these hard-sided or soft-sided bags?

These are, technically, soft-sided bags in that the leather isn’t glued onto wooden or plastic supports. The nature of the full-grain leather, though, gives the bags more support than top-grain leather bags of similar size. The Brief #1, however, does have some support to it.

When are you coming out with new styles?

Always working on it. Sign up under “Give me your email” here to get notified. If you have a suggestion for changes or improvements, don’t keep that to yourself. Others might like it. Sure, it’s slower than getting a “like” or a double-tap heart, but if folks agree then you’ve got some serious validation to brag to your friends about. Submit it here.
